Last night at the Bedford & District League committee meeting it was confirmed that our very own Bedford Tigers Golds took the’gold’ winning the ‘Versatility Tournament’ this year.

Our school years 9-11 girls didn’t have the season in the league they were hoping but finished in a high by taking one of this years cup competitions.

Their route to get their was through Maulden Leopards who they beat comfortably and facing a tight game against Westoning Zodiac who they nudge a victory from in March 19-16.

What a well deserved high, rewarding their sheer effort and persistence throughout the season which at times have been difficult.

A timely reminder, never to give up! Well done girls!

They will receive their awards from the league in June.
